ABOUT ME

I’m originally from the bustling metropolis of Heyworth, Illinois and began my career in sport performance in 2011 upon returning to Normal, Illinois after graduating from the University of Illinois.

I had come back to pursue a Master’s degree in Sport Management at Illinois State University and, at that same time, had begun providing lesson instruction at a local indoor baseball/softball facility where I met my eventual, long-term business partner – Dan Blewett.

After graduating with my M.S. in 2013, Dan and I created Warbird Training Academy – a combination baseball academy and sports performance facility based in Normal. At Warbird, Dan and I offered private baseball/softball instruction, camps, clinics, personal training, custom group strength training, travel baseball teams, coaching education, and more to the athletes of central Illinois and beyond.

Five years later, in 2018, in addition in my work at Warbird Academy, I became an adjunct faculty member in the department of Health Science at Heartland Community College and soon after became the strength and conditioning coach for Heartland Athletics, where I write and administer the strength and conditioning program for 100+ student athletes.

In mid-2019, after nearly a decade of collaboration, Dan and I decided to close the doors of Warbird Academy to explore the next phases of our development.

Now, having given well over 5000 lessons and having written custom training programs for over 800 athletes, I’ve created LC TRAINING to allow me the opportunity to continue to offer premiere baseball/softball instruction and custom training programs to anyone with a desire to improve.
